English with Adriana is operated by Domus Languages j.d.o.o., a company registered in Croatia.

We provide free English-learning resources, the English Speaking Club, digital learning materials, and private English-speaking coaching to help you practise and speak with more confidence.

02Using our website

You're welcome to explore our website, enjoy our free resources, and learn with us. We simply ask that you use it respectfully and lawfully.

Please don't interfere with the website's functionality, access another person's account, or use content in a way that infringes our rights or those of others. If you create an account, keep your login details private and let us know if you suspect unauthorised access.

03Our Speaking Club & digital resources

The English Speaking Club offers a seven-day weekly learning rhythm, including guided reading, listening, vocabulary, grammar, shadowing, reflection, and speaking practice. It also includes weekly live Q&A support with recordings and self-paced practice. It is not a daily live class or a promise of individual feedback.

Club access and any other digital materials you choose to purchase are delivered electronically, as described at checkout or in your order confirmation. Access periods and any technical requirements are explained before purchase. Lifetime access is included only where expressly stated.

If you have a problem accessing something you purchased, please email us. We'll help and respect any remedies available under the law. Our private coaching page is for information and enquiries, rather than immediate online booking.

04Payments & pricing

All prices, the final amount payable, and any applicable charges are shown before you complete a purchase. Payments are handled through our payment providers.

The English Speaking Club costs $7 USD for one month. Each payment is made manually; there is no automatic renewal. If you would like to continue for another month, you make a new payment. Optional extras, where offered at checkout, are your choice and their prices are shown before payment.

We may introduce special offers or update prices, but changes won't affect purchases you've already completed.

05Refunds & cancellations

We want the terms of each purchase to be clear before you pay.

Speaking Club payments are made manually and do not automatically renew. If you choose not to continue, you do not need to cancel an automatic subscription.

If you have a refund request or a concern about your purchase, please email adriana@englishteacheradriana.com. We will assess it according to the terms of your purchase and applicable consumer law.

Nothing in this section removes any statutory withdrawal, refund, or other consumer rights that apply to you. Any rights or guarantees validly provided for an earlier purchase remain subject to the terms agreed for that purchase.

06Your consumer rights

Because we're based in Croatia, we respect applicable Croatian and EU consumer-protection laws. Eligible EU consumers generally have a 14-day right to withdraw from qualifying online purchases, although legal exceptions can apply.

For example, the statutory withdrawal right for certain digital content delivered immediately may be lost only when the legally required separate consent, acknowledgement, and confirmation conditions are met. Different rules can apply to private coaching and other services.

Where a statutory withdrawal right applies, you may tell us by emailing adriana@englishteacheradriana.com, or by using the online withdrawal function provided where required.

Your statutory rights also apply if a purchased product or service isn't delivered as promised. Nothing in these Terms restricts those rights, and any additional purchase-specific guarantees remain subject to their applicable terms.

07Private coaching sessions

For private coaching, we'll arrange sessions at mutually convenient times. We understand that life happens and plans sometimes change!

If you need to move a session, please contact us at least 48 hours before the scheduled start. We'll help you find another suitable appointment.

For requests with less than 48 hours' notice, rescheduling isn't guaranteed, and any fair cancellation conditions clearly disclosed before purchase may apply.

If we need to move a session, we'll offer a reasonable alternative. We'll always aim to be understanding while respecting everyone's time and your consumer rights.

08Your learning results

Our goal is to help you feel more confident speaking English, but everyone's journey is different. Your progress depends on your current level, practice, consistency, and personal circumstances.

We provide the lessons and support included in your purchase, but we can't promise a particular learning outcome. Student testimonials reflect individual experiences, not guaranteed results.

Confidence grows through practice, not perfection!

09Respecting our content

We put a lot of care into our lessons, learning activities, audio recordings, videos, and worksheets. Our original materials belong to Domus Languages j.d.o.o. or their respective copyright holders.

When you purchase something, you're welcome to use it for your own personal learning. Please don't resell, redistribute, publicly upload, or share paid learning materials or account access without permission, except where the law permits.

Purchasing access to learning materials lets you use them for your own learning; it doesn't transfer ownership of the materials. Thanks for respecting our work!

10Your privacy

Your privacy matters to us. Personal information shared when signing up, purchasing, or taking part in coaching is handled under our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection laws.

If you submit a recording or written exercise for feedback, we'll use it for the educational services you've requested. We won't publicly use identifiable personal recordings or learning submissions for marketing without the permission or other lawful basis required.

11Emails & communication

We may email you information related to your registration, orders, lessons, or coaching sessions.

We may also share learning tips, news, and special offers where permitted by law. When consent is required, we'll ask separately. You can unsubscribe from promotional emails using the link provided.

12Website availability & external links

We work to keep the website and learning materials available, but occasional technical problems, updates, or maintenance can happen. Please contact us if something isn't working.

We may link to services such as YouTube, online course platforms, or payment providers. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices, but we're still responsible for meeting our obligations when you buy from us.

13Updates to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our products, website, or applicable laws. We'll publish the current version here with its updated date.

For existing purchases, the terms agreed at purchase will generally continue to apply unless a change is validly agreed or permitted by law. Your existing legal rights remain protected.

14Questions, concerns & complaints

We genuinely want your experience with English with Adriana to be a good one. If something isn't right, please get in touch — we're happy to help.

Written consumer complaints are handled according to applicable Croatian law, including a written response within 15 days where required. You also retain any rights to contact consumer authorities or use available dispute-resolution options.

15Applicable law

These Terms are governed by Croatian law. If you live in another country, any mandatory consumer protections that legally apply to you continue to apply.

Nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
